Embroidery
Regular thread embroidery
Embroidery can be done in almost any design, using regular thread that has a slight sheen.
It is commonly used for logo embroidery, text, and images.
There are some limitations in terms of the number of colors and intricate details compared to printing. However, it offers a handcrafted quality with a clear, raised texture of the design.
It can be used on all fabrics that are not too thin and also on fabrics that are not smooth, such as juti or pique.
Metalic thread embroidery
Metalic thread is a highly shiny thread, but it is less flexible than regular thread, which makes it unsuitable for intricate designs.
It is typically used for single-color embroidery only and cannot be combined with other colors or regular thread.
The types of fabric that can be used are the same as those for regular thread embroidery.
Embossed Embroidery
This technique involves stitching regular thread over foam that has been cut into the desired shape.
The embroidery design stands out more than usual, creating a raised effect.
It is not suitable for complex designs and is commonly used for lettering.
It is typically used on hats rather than shirts, as the fabric is thicker and stiffer, allowing the design to maintain its shape and prevent wrinkles caused by the tension of the embroidery thread.
